November 2013 we went to California to visit Jenny, Jim's daughter, and her family in Los Banos. Jim's sister and husband also joined us from Chicago. We drove toward Sacramento to see Danette's relatives (Steve, Colleen, Barb, Wally). We also saw Danette's cousin, Colleen, and her family.
In December Danette took a short trip to Fargo to see her mother, sister, and brother as well as some friends.
For Christmas Deb and Drew visited from Minneapolis. It was great to have Jim's kids and grandkids with us also.
January 2014 Jim and Danette took PEACE down to the Keys. Jim's sister and brother in law were in Marathon while we were there. We hooked up with some of our Palm Coast friends who were at a marina. We also met people that we had previously connected with in the Bahamas, and one couple we had met in Quebec, Canada, some years ago. After leaving the Keys, we cruised the Everglades and stopped at Marco Island, Naples, and Ft. Myers where we visited friends along the way. We crossed the Okeechobee waterway to Stuart where we spent time with Greg and Corinne, good boating friends we met in the Bahamas.
March 2014 Darline, Danette's mother, joined us in Florida for a week. On March 9, Danette's mother turned 80. Danette and her mother went to Savannah and Charleston. We also had two sets of relatives stop in from MN while they were on vacation, and we enjoyed our short time with them.
